Music producer Quincy Jones is suing the estate of Michael Jackson for $10 million dollars. The foundation of Jones’ lawsuit is based on claims that he has not been paid royalties for the use of Jackson’s music that he produced and not given producer credit on his last film, “This Is It”. Jones also claims that songs from Jackson’s hit albums “Off the Wall”, “Bad“ and “Thriller” were re-edited so Jones would not get compensation or credit. The lawsuit also includes Sony Entertainment.
I guess one day Michael Jackson will be able to rest in peace — unfortunately it won’t be today.
